Large Cooked Lobster (600-800g)


Lobster is the king of the crustaceans, lobster is a delicacy that commands a very high price, with white, firm meat that is sweet and succulent. Before it is cooked, lobster shell has a very dark colour, with tints that range from blue/green to red/purple – it gains its distinctive deep red brick colour only when it’s cooked.

Please note that the weight is for a live lobster and the lobster will loose about 10 – 15% of its weight in the cooking process (550-725g).

Your Lobster will arrive whole and freshly cooked and should be consumed within 3 days of receiving.  The lobster will be vac packed and will be okay to freeze for a later date if required, but we recommend that you try and order it on a Tuesday to be delivered and consumed at the weekend.

Tip for cutting up:

  1.  Face the lobster towards you with a sharp cooks knife and cut into the head in the middle and cut straight down the middle and pull the knife towards you through the head.
  2. Turn around so the tail faces you and cut from the head incision and cut lengthways down the tail to split in too.
